2013 PRS Custom 22 Employee Artist Package Faded Abalone
Employee PRS - PRS made for a PRS factory employee. This is not a serial PRS and it is impossible to order, sometimes factory workers sell their guitars, this is the only way to buy Employee PRS. You should understand that workers get the best wood, lot of options (as top from private stock vault, rare colors, etc). Each PRS Employee made with help of Paul Reed Smith himself.
It's PRS Custom 22 model with a stoptail bridge in one of the most beautiful colors - Faded Abalone - is no longer available from PRS. It is very similar to the Teal Black colors and the private stock Blue Slate - depending on the lighting it changes from malachite green to dark blue and almost black. Top itself is something! Very beautiful! Bird inlays are made of natural abalone, including an prs logo on the head of the neck! All wood - hand selected and the top is from Private Stock vault - see picture!
In addition, the guitar has a semi-matte maple neck also with a gorgeous flame (the most beautiful flame maple on the neck I've seen!) And an ebony fingerboard. Guitar back - a separate topic - this is figured mahogany from a special cut - it looks like a million dollar!
Personally, I love 22 frets. Guitar has Wide Thin (Pattern Thin) neck , 57/08 pickups. Well-balanced sound.
Awesome sounding instrument! Case Artist, documents, keys and even a disk with photos from the factory how this guitar was made are included. Guitar like new condition, no marks at all.
