The PRS Custom 24 “Birds of a Feather” Limited Edition celebrates one of the most defining instruments in the PRS catalogue — the Custom 24.
For this exclusive edition, the legendary Custom 24 is paired with the striking Birds of a Feather fingerboard inlay, a design previously available exclusively through PRS Private Stock.
Limited to just 360 instruments worldwide, this special edition is produced in 2026 and combines an exceptional Artist Grade figured maple top with a sophisticated Charcoal Microburst finish, natural back and binding, and one of the most distinctive PRS inlay designs ever created.
The Birds of a Feather inlay was designed by Paul Miles, PRS Director of Manufacturing and head of Private Stock, approximately ten years ago. Rather than simply recreating the traditional PRS bird motif, the design uses different woods to create a sense of movement, depth and space.

Tone & Playability
At its heart, this is still a true Custom 24: a mahogany body, figured maple top, 25" scale length, 24 frets and the latest PRS Gen III Tremolo.
The pair of PRS DMO — Dynamic, Musical, Open pickups delivers a balanced, open and highly expressive voice with the characteristic vocal quality PRS players know and love.
Combined with the 5-way blade switch, the DMO pickups provide a remarkably versatile range of sounds, covering powerful humbucking tones alongside lighter, single-coil-inspired voices.
The Pattern Thin mahogany neck offers the fast, familiar feel associated with modern PRS instruments, while the ebony and figured maple fingerboard provides the perfect canvas for the extraordinary Birds of a Feather inlay.
PRS Phase III Locking Tuners and the new-generation Gen III Tremolo provide excellent tuning stability, resonance and reliable performance.
This is an instrument equally at home on stage, in the studio or in a serious collection.
More than a commemorative Custom 24, the Birds of a Feather Limited Edition is a celebration of PRS craftsmanship, design and identity — combining a legendary platform with an inlay previously reserved for Private Stock instruments.
