PRS SE Custom 24-08 Quilt — Versatility Without Compromise
The PRS SE Custom 24-08 Quilt takes one of PRS’s most iconic guitar platforms and expands its tonal range with an incredibly versatile switching system and a striking Quilted Maple top.
Built around the familiar Custom 24 foundation, the SE Custom 24-08 retains everything players love about the model — a Maple top, Mahogany back, Ebony fingerboard, 24 frets, 25" scale length, PRS bird inlays and the PRS patented tremolo — while adding significantly more tonal flexibility.
At the heart of the guitar are a matched pair of PRS TCI “S” pickups, designed to cover everything from articulate, spanky single-coil sounds to full, powerful humbucker tones. Two individual mini-toggle coil-tap switches allow each pickup to be split independently, giving you eight different pickup configurations.
That makes the SE Custom 24-08 an exceptionally flexible instrument. From clean and shimmering tones to thick rock sounds and everything in between, the 24-08 gives you the ability to move between different sonic characters without changing guitars.
The Wide Thin Maple neck and Ebony fingerboard provide a fast, comfortable playing feel, while the PRS patented tremolo and PRS-designed tuners offer reliable tuning stability and expressive pitch control.
Visually, the Quilted Maple veneer adds a distinctive figured appearance that makes this model stand out from a standard Custom 24.
