Guitars in the LTD 1000 Series are engineered to provide the tone, feel, looks, and quality that working professional musicians demand. Serving as a spectacular realization of the MH body style, the LTD MH-1000 features a carved quilted maple top in a stunning transparent Black Ocean finish.
Clean white binding outlines the guitar's body and complements its brilliant chrome hardware. Utilizing a Neck-Thru construction, the MH-1000 pairs a solid mahogany body with an Extra Thin U 3-piece maple neck. The macassar ebony fingerboard boasts a 300-400mm compound radius for ultimate speed and playability, accented with offset white pearloid block inlays and 24 Extra Jumbo stainless steel frets engineered for smooth action and long-term durability.
Hardware includes high-grade components such as a Floyd Rose 1000SE double-locking tremolo system with stainless steel screws, precision Grover tuners, and a 42mm locking nut.
A direct-mounted pair of active Fishman Fluence Modern Humbuckers — featuring a Ceramic magnet in the bridge and an Alnico magnet in the neck — powers the instrument, dressed in elegant brushed stainless steel covers. A push-pull tone control activates a secondary voicing for each pickup, allowing players to instantly transition from high-output aggressive crunch to smooth, articulate lead textures.
