Capturing the essence of one of the most beloved and influential figures in heavy metal history, the LTD Alexi Hexed stands as one of the final instruments designed by Children of Bodom and Bodom After Midnight frontman Alexi Laiho.
Offered in an aggressive Offset V body shape with a Neck-Thru construction built on a 25.5" scale length, the guitar features solid alder body wings paired with a 3-piece maple neck. The back of the neck is finished in a smooth Natural Satin coat, accommodating high-speed lead playability.
Its macassar ebony fingerboard comes equipped with 24 Extra Jumbo frets, striking sawtooth inlays, and glow-in-the-dark side markers. For precise lead articulation in the highest register, frets 19 through 24 are fully scalloped.
Hardware highlights include a double-locking Floyd Rose 1000 tremolo bridge system, precision Grover tuners, a 42mm locking nut, and chrome hardware.
Tonal horsepower is delivered by a single passive EMG HZ F-H2 ceramic humbucker governed by a single master volume control. This high-gain pickup generates punchy response, high-end clarity, and cutting presence ideal for heavy metal rhythm and solo work. Finished in a Purple Fade coat with light purple pinstripes and matching back and sides, the guitar comes complete with a deluxe V-Alexi Guitar Form Fit Case.
