Blackstar Series One 1046L6: American tube power with British tonal flexibility
Blackstar Series One 1046L6 is an amplifier where four 6L6 power tubes deliver an incredibly powerful, tight, and highly dynamic tone. It is designed for players who demand maximum headroom, attack, and expressive response without compromise.
The amplifier features DPR (Dynamic Power Reduction), allowing the output power to be reduced down to 10 watts. This makes it possible to achieve rich, saturated distortion at lower volumes while preserving the core tone and dynamics of a true tube amplifier.
To further expand tonal flexibility, Blackstar engineers equipped the unit with four channels (six operating modes) and the proprietary ISF system, which allows seamless tonal shaping from classic British tones to modern American high-gain sounds.

The patented ISF technology works alongside a standard 3-band EQ (Bass, Middle, Treble), providing a significantly wider tonal range.
It allows smooth transitions between British-style crunch and tight American high-gain tones, enabling players to create their own unique sonic identity.
Unlike conventional EQ systems, ISF affects the entire frequency spectrum while preserving the natural behavior of a tube amplifier.
