The new Blackstar HT Venue MkIII combo amplifiers have arrived in our store, raising the bar once again for modern valve amplification. Designed for players who demand authentic boutique cleans, refined overdrives, and professional-grade connectivity, the MkIII series combines traditional valve tone with cutting-edge digital tools.
Boutique cleans & modern gain
The Clean channel is powered by an ECC83 / 12AX7 preamp valve, delivering genuine valve compression, sparkling clarity, and classic crunch at higher levels.
The Overdrive channels inherit the architecture of the iconic Series One range, delivering rich, articulate high-gain tones through cascaded ECC83 stages.
Two Voices per channel
HT Venue MkIII includes two selectable Voices on each channel. These aren’t digital filters — they are real circuit changes affecting EQ voicing, tone-stack placement, gain structure, and power-amp damping. With one switch you transform the amp’s personality, from vintage warmth to tight, modern aggression.
CabRig™ — next-generation speaker simulation
Built-in CabRig™ provides IR-based DSP cabinet simulation with hundreds of cabinet, mic, and room combinations.
When recording via USB-C, we get four channels simultaneously: clean/dry, preamp out, and stereo emulated output — producing authentic mic’d-cab tone with zero latency.
Designed for the modern guitarist
Blackstar’s patented ISF control sweeps from US-style tightness to UK-style mid-rich tone, with an infinite number of blends in between.
The new reverb engine offers Dark and Light modes, with deeper editing available in the Architect software.
