Series One is a reference amplifier series from one of the most respected names in guitar amplification. Its sound is designed to impress musicians across all genres. With no reliance on emulations and no compromises, and with the transparency of a true boutique-style tube amplifier, Series One combines British engineering quality, dynamic tonal control, versatility, and ease of use.
The lineup includes everything from a 200-watt KT88-powered head to a 45-watt combo capable of handling any stage environment.
The series also features the patented technologies DPR and ISF.
DPR (Dynamic Power Reduction) allows the amplifier’s output power to be reduced down to 10% without degrading tone. Unlike conventional systems, it is a continuously adjustable dynamic control rather than a simple switch, preserving natural tube response.
ISF (Infinite Shape Feature) is one of Blackstar’s most important innovations, enabling real-time tonal shaping from American-style voicing to classic British tones.
Blackstar Series One 45 — compact size, full-scale performance
Series One 45 is the smallest and least powerful combo in the series. However, it delivers more than enough headroom to handle live stage applications.
With the DPR system, output power can be reduced down to 4.5 watts, making it equally suitable for studio recording and home practice.
The advanced ISF system combined with two 12-inch Celestion Neo speakers featuring neodymium magnets, custom-designed for Blackstar, gives players a highly flexible and expressive tonal platform.
