Power and versatility combined
The Artisan 30 features four EL84 tubes operating in Class A, delivering excellent dynamics and rich harmonic response. It supports two operating modes — Pentode (30W) and Triode (10W), selectable via the front panel, making it suitable for both home and stage use.
Channel 1 — EF86 Channel
Channel 1 is based on the EF86 tube and delivers high gain with low noise. It produces a distinctive overdrive character with smooth compression, ideal for studio applications.
Hi and Low inputs accommodate both active and passive pickups, adjusting signal level by approximately ±6dB, and making it pedal-friendly.
Controls include:
• Volume — from low gain to high-gain lead tones
• Tone — shapes the overall brightness
• Bass Shape — 5-position low-frequency selector
Bass Shape positions:
1 — tight tone with minimal low-end
2 — enhanced low mids for added body
3 — balanced mids and lows
4 — deep tone with strong bass
5 — warm “American-style” tone with rich low-end
Channel 2 — ECC83 Channel
Channel 2 is built around an ECC83 tube and blends boutique EL84 character with classic British amp voicing.
