One instrument from this limited edition series 👌 is already on its way to our store!
Renowned guitar manufacturer PRS has partnered with Mammoth touring guitarist Jon Jourdan to introduce a limited-edition signature model designed around one simple philosophy: remove everything that isn't essential. The new PRS Jon Jourdan Limited Edition was created specifically for life on the road, where reliability, ease of use, and direct connection between player and instrument matter more than an abundance of controls.

According to Jon Jourdan, the development process focused on keeping only the features that truly serve a practical purpose during live performances, eliminating every unnecessary component.
The PRS Jon Jourdan Limited Edition features a single bridge humbucker, one master volume control, and an all-mahogany body and neck construction engineered to withstand demanding touring schedules.

Production is strictly limited to only 200 guitars worldwide, making this signature model especially appealing to collectors as well as fans of Jon Jourdan and Mammoth.
Its design embraces an uncompromising minimalist concept. There is no neck pickup, no tone control, and virtually nothing standing between the guitarist and the amplifier. Every design decision was made to maximize simplicity and playing efficiency.
Sound comes from a single PRS Metal pickup mounted in the bridge position. The lone volume knob has been relocated to the traditional tone control position. This arrangement reflects Jon Jourdan's personal playing style, as he typically performs with the volume fully open, allowing him to avoid accidentally hitting the control during energetic performances.
The guitar is equipped with a 22-fret Pattern Regular mahogany neck paired with an ebony fingerboard. Traditional fretboard inlays have been intentionally omitted, creating a clean, understated appearance. Instead, green Luminlay side dots provide excellent visibility under low-light stage conditions.
Additional hardware includes a PRS Adjustable Stoptail bridge, a proprietary PRS nut, and Phase III Locking Tuners with ebony buttons, ensuring dependable tuning stability throughout demanding live performances.

Speaking about the new instrument, Jon Jourdan explained:
"At the end of the day, my guitar is a tool. I want it to do exactly what I need it to do, so we intentionally removed all the extra features that simply aren't necessary.
This guitar delivers a massive sound and is incredibly enjoyable to play. I believe eliminating unnecessary wiring and removing the neck pickup—so its magnets no longer pull on the strings—gives the instrument a more lively and responsive feel. It's hard for me to imagine anyone picking up this guitar and not having a great time playing it."
Only 200 examples of the PRS Jon Jourdan Limited Edition will be produced during 2026. Every instrument will include a rear control cavity cover personally hand-signed by Jon Jourdan, adding an extra level of exclusivity for players and collectors alike.
