The first striking feature of the Bogner Atma is its sleek, rounded enclosure crafted from a hybrid aluminum-and-wood chassis. Beyond its striking modern appearance, this structure provides road-tested durability while keeping overall weight to an absolute minimum. Inspired by Reinhold Bogner's family heritage in aluminum manufacturing and the iconic industrial design philosophy of Dieter Rams, the Atma reflects mid-century modernism, streamlined architecture, and futuristic material engineering.
Three-Channel Versatility and All-Tube Architecture
The amplifier features an all-tube signal path powered by three JJ ECC83s preamp tubes, a pair of EL84 power tubes running in cathode-biased Class A, and an EZ81 tube rectifier. It houses three footswitchable channels:

Clean Channel: Controlled via dedicated Volume and Tone knobs alongside a Bright switch, sweeping from classic scooped blackface clarity to thick, punchy tweed textures.

Crunch & Solo Channels: Share a 3-band EQ (Bass, Mid, Treble) and feature a 3-position Voicing/Gain switch that captures iconic rock tones of the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s. The master Gain pot sets the core overdrive, while a rear-panel Crunch Preset Gain dial adjusts the gain differential between the Crunch and Solo modes.
Additional feature highlights include a buffered effects loop, a rear-panel Vintage / Modern switch, and versatile output jacks for 4 Ohm, 8 Ohm, and 16 Ohm speaker cabinets.
