The HT METAL series is built for players who demand maximum power, aggression, and tonal control. Despite its extremely tight, saturated, and authentic tube tone, this lineup is based on the globally recognized HT-1, HT-5, and Venue series by Blackstar.
The range includes compact 1W and 5W combos and heads, as well as 1x12" and 4x8" cabinets loaded with Blackstar Blackbird speakers. At the same time, it extends into professional territory with a 60-watt 6L6-powered 2x12 combo and a full 100-watt head paired with a 4x12 cabinet.
In other words, the HT METAL series unlocks the full potential of modern high-gain tube tone from Blackstar—anywhere you play. Whether at home or on stage, the sound remains powerful, deep, and articulate.
The visual design is just as impressive. A black metal grille, metal control panel, and bold logo create a striking, aggressive look that reflects the amp’s sonic character.

The Blackstar HT METAL 60C 2x12 is a 60-watt tube combo that stands out as one of the most versatile high-gain amplifiers available. It’s a true metal powerhouse, capable of driving large stages with ease.
At the same time, it performs equally well at home, maintaining its depth, punch, and tonal richness even at lower volumes.
Total control over your tone
The combo features three fully independent channels: Clean, Overdrive 1, and Overdrive 2, all switchable via footcontroller. Global controls include Volume, Presence, Resonance, and Reverb.
OD1 and OD2 share a common EQ section: Treble, Middle, Bass, and ISF.
ISF is Blackstar’s patented technology, allowing you to shape your tone across an incredibly wide sonic spectrum.
Each overdrive channel includes dedicated Gain and Volume controls, making it easy to dial in anything from tight rhythm tones to cutting lead sounds.
The Clean channel offers separate Treble, Bass, and Volume controls, along with a Voice switch that lets you choose between “British Class-A” and “Dynamic US” tonal styles.
A 4-button footcontroller is included, giving you seamless control over channels and reverb during performance.
Tube power with modern flexibility
The amp uses a pair of 6L6 tubes to deliver 60 watts of powerful, saturated tube tone, perfect for heavy music styles.
It’s equipped with Celestion speakers, known worldwide for their clarity, punch, and reliability.
Additional features include:
- a digital reverb with Dark and Bright modes
- an effects loop with switchable levels (+4 dBV to -10 dBV)
- an emulated output with 1x12” and 4x12” cabinet simulation
This makes the amp equally suitable for live performance and studio recording.
