Raw punk energy reimagined

Legendary brand Marshall has joined forces with iconic band Sex Pistols to celebrate their 50th anniversary with a bold limited-edition amplifier.

This special JCM800 Half Stack is more than gear — it’s a tribute to the sound, attitude, and cultural impact that defined a generation.

A design that screams rebellion

Finished in a striking yellow and “anarchic pink” color scheme, the amp visually references the band’s groundbreaking album Never Mind the Bollocks.

The full setup includes:

  • JCM800 amp head
  • 1960A 4×12 angled cabinet
  • Celestion G12T-75 speakers
  • custom 50th anniversary badge

It looks as loud as it sounds.

Pure British valve tone

At its core, this is everything fans expect from Marshall:

  • 100 watts of power
  • classic tube-driven tone
  • straightforward single-channel design
  • Master Volume
  • effects loop
  • unmistakable late ’70s aggression

No unnecessary features — just raw, powerful sound.

Co-created with Steve Jones

The amp was developed with direct input from Steve Jones, whose guitar tone helped define the sound of Sex Pistols.

Now performing alongside Frank Carter, Jones continues to carry the band’s legacy forward — and this amp reflects that same uncompromising spirit.

Ultra-limited: only 81 units worldwide

Each unit is built at Marshall’s factory in Bletchley, UK.

With only 81 units produced, this is a rare collector’s piece destined to sell out quickly.

Steve Jones on simplicity

As Steve Jones puts it:

“I’ve been using Marshall for a long time, and the 800 series is my workhorse — always reliable, always consistent. I like to keep things simple — it’s only rock ’n’ roll.”

The sound that changed everything

Steph Carter from Marshall adds:

“The JCM800 became a defining voice of British punk. Reimagining it with Steve for the band’s 50th anniversary is a powerful tribute to a sound that changed everything.”

Legacy and respect

Despite lineup changes, Steve Jones has expressed respect and appreciation for original frontman John Lydon, even as the band moves forward without him.
