Jackson Pro Series Rhoads RRT-5 — pure metal heritage, redefined
We have received the Jackson Pro Series Rhoads RRT-5, a guitar that proudly carries forward the metal legacy of the immortal Randy Rhoads while meeting the demands of today’s aggressive modern sound.
Finished in classic Gloss Black with striking gold hardware and pickguard, the RRT-5 is a commanding V-shaped instrument. Its mahogany body delivers thick, resonant tone with impressive sustain, while the neck-through maple construction with graphite reinforcement and scarf joint ensures exceptional stability and effortless upper-fret access. The smooth oiled neck back enhances comfort and speed during long sessions.
The bound ebony fingerboard features a fast 12"–16" compound radius, 22 jumbo frets, and pearloid sharkfin inlays — a setup designed for precision, speed, and confidence across the entire neck.
At the heart of the sound are two Seymour Duncan® Distortion humbuckers. Known for their high output, rich upper-mid harmonics, and tight low end, these pickups deliver crushing rhythm tones, searing leads, and surprisingly clear cleans when needed. Direct-mounted to the body, they increase resonance, punch, and sustain.
The compensated and adjustable Jackson TOM-style bridge with anchored tailpiece provides rock-solid intonation and tuning stability, while Dunlop dual-locking strap buttons make the guitar stage-ready right out of the case.
