Jackson X Series Surfcaster™ SC HT6 — Vintage Roots with a Modern Metal Edge

Drawing from Jackson’s iconic designs, the X Series Surfcaster™ SC HT6 blends classic offset styling with modern performance features to create a powerful contemporary metal guitar. This model delivers stability, comfort, and aggressive tone in a sleek, no-nonsense package.

The offset Surfcaster™ body is crafted from poplar, a tonewood known for its rich resonance and pronounced upper-mid response—perfect for cutting through dense mixes. A bolt-on maple neck with graphite reinforcement provides excellent tuning stability, durability, and a fast, confident feel.

The laurel fingerboard features a 12"–16" compound radius, making chord work smooth near the nut while allowing effortless, choke-free soloing higher up the neck. With 24 jumbo frets and Jackson’s sculpted neck heel, access to the highest registers is completely unhindered.

Loaded with Jackson® high-output humbuckers, the Surfcaster delivers thick, saturated distortion tones with strong sustain and punch—exactly the sound that helped define the Jackson legacy. A straightforward control layout with single volume and tone knobs keeps everything focused on pure performance.

The Jackson® hardtail string-through-body bridge ensures rock-solid tuning stability, precise intonation, enhanced vibration transfer, and increased sustain. Finished in Satin Black with black hardware and a bold pickguard, the Surfcaster looks as aggressive as it sounds.
