Electric guitars from Jackson have long been associated with aggressive design, fast necks and powerful tone. The JS Series continues this tradition while making the legendary Jackson feel accessible to a wider range of players.

We have now received the JS Series Dinky® JS11 in Metallic Blue, a model that perfectly demonstrates how classic Jackson character can be combined with modern playability and affordability.

The Dinky® JS11 features a lightweight poplar body, a fast maple neck and a pair of high-output Jackson humbuckers. Together these elements create a guitar capable of delivering tight rhythm tones, heavy riffs and expressive lead playing.

The Dinky® body shape is one of the most recognizable designs in the Jackson lineup. Its compact form provides excellent ergonomics and balance whether playing seated or standing on stage.

The body is made from poplar, a tonewood appreciated for its balanced sound profile. Poplar offers a clear midrange, smooth low end and a responsive attack that works well with both clean tones and high-gain distortion.

A gloss finish highlights the depth of the Metallic Blue color and gives the instrument a striking stage presence.

One of the defining features of Jackson guitars is their fast and comfortable neck profile. The JS11 uses a bolt-on maple neck, which contributes to strong attack and clear articulation.

The neck construction includes graphite reinforcement rods, increasing stability and resistance to environmental changes.

A scarf joint headstock construction creates an angled headstock, improving string pressure behind the nut and enhancing sustain.

The satin neck finish provides a smooth surface that allows the hand to move quickly and comfortably across the fretboard.

The fingerboard is made from amaranth, a dense hardwood known for durability and tonal clarity.

The 12" (305 mm) fingerboard radius creates a relatively flat playing surface. This design makes chord playing easier, feels comfortable for rhythm work and still allows expressive bends during lead playing.

The neck includes 22 jumbo frets, giving players excellent control and comfortable playability across the full scale.

The guitar is equipped with two Jackson High-Output Humbucking pickups with ceramic magnets.

These pickups produce a powerful signal with strong midrange presence and clear articulation, making them ideal for modern rock and metal tones.

Tone shaping is handled by a three-way blade switch along with volume and tone controls, allowing quick adjustments during performance.

▲ 2-Point Fulcrum Tremolo System

The 2-Point Fulcrum Tremolo bridge is a classic design that pivots on two points on the guitar body. This system allows the player to press the tremolo arm to raise or lower pitch while maintaining stable tuning.

All hardware is finished in black, complementing the metallic body color and enhancing the aggressive visual style of the instrument.

Reliable tuning is provided by Jackson sealed die-cast tuning machines, known for their precision and durability.
