The JS22 DKA features a poplar body with an arched top, offering both visual appeal and playing comfort.

Poplar is known for its balanced tonal characteristics, providing clear articulation, solid low end and a smooth midrange.

A glossy body finish enhances the depth of the color and gives the instrument a striking stage presence.

▲ Jackson Speed Neck

The guitar features a bolt-on maple neck reinforced with graphite rods, improving neck stability and durability against temperature and humidity changes.

The scarf joint construction creates an angled headstock which increases string tension behind the nut, enhancing sustain while reducing the need for additional string retainers.

The neck is finished in smooth satin, ensuring effortless hand movement and excellent speed during fast playing passages.

The fingerboard is crafted from amaranth, a dense hardwood known for its rich tone and durability.

A 12"–16" compound radius offers the best of both worlds:

• a rounder radius near the nut for comfortable chords

• a flatter radius near the upper frets for effortless solos and bends

With 24 jumbo frets, the guitar provides a full two-octave range and smooth playability, while the iconic pearloid sharkfin inlays give it a distinctive Jackson look.
