The Ibanez GRG series is well known among guitar players for its ergonomic neck design, reliable construction, and modern sound. The GRG170DX continues this tradition by offering an instrument that performs confidently during rehearsals, studio sessions, and live performances.

Body: the guitar features a Poplar body.
Poplar provides balanced tonal characteristics with solid dynamics and versatility. This tonewood allows the guitar to perform well with both clean sounds and heavily driven tones.

The guitar features a GRG Maple neck.
Maple is valued for its strength and stability. It delivers a bright tonal response and clear articulation, making the instrument comfortable for fast and expressive playing.

The fretboard is made from Purpleheart and includes elegant binding.
It is decorated with classic White Sharktooth inlays, giving the instrument a recognizable Ibanez look while enhancing its aggressive style.
