The Ibanez RG420EX electric guitar has arrived in our store — a powerful instrument that continues the legacy of one of the most iconic guitar series in modern music. The legendary Ibanez RG series is famous for its aggressive styling, ultra-fast necks, and powerful modern tone, making it a favorite among guitarists worldwide.

The RG420EX combines the signature ergonomics of Ibanez, exceptional reliability, and versatile sound that works perfectly for rock, metal, progressive music, and technically demanding playing styles.

The body is crafted from Meranti, a tonewood known for producing a balanced and full sound. Meranti offers warm mids, solid lows, and excellent resonance, making it particularly suitable for high-gain tones and dynamic playing.

One of the most important features of the Ibanez RG420EX is the legendary Wizard III neck. Built from Maple, this neck is known for its thin, flat, and extremely fast profile. This design allows players to perform complex solos, rapid passages, and technical riffs with maximum comfort.

The neck features 24 jumbo frets, providing a full two-octave range and expanding the guitar’s expressive possibilities. Jumbo frets improve note articulation and make string bending smoother and easier.

The fretboard is made from Jatoba, a wood with a distinctive reddish-brown color that produces a rich midrange and crisp high frequencies. The fretboard is decorated with White Dot inlays, making navigation across the neck easy and clear.

The guitar is equipped with the Edge-Zero II tremolo bridge, a professional double-locking tremolo system. Its low-profile design increases playing comfort while the stud-lock function helps maintain excellent tuning stability. This system allows players to perform aggressive tremolo techniques while keeping the guitar perfectly in tune.

The Ibanez Quantum H-H pickups deliver powerful modern tone. These humbuckers provide a fast low-end response and capture rapid passages with precise note definition, while delivering a full-bodied mid-to-high range.

Another important innovation is the Mono-unit output jack, a single-piece durable output jack design that prevents unwanted movement and loosening. This improves reliability, ensures consistent signal connection, and reduces long-term maintenance.

The Ibanez RG420EX comes equipped with D’Addario EXL120 strings in .009–.042 gauge and standard E-A-D-G-B-E factory tuning, offering excellent playability right out of the box.
