⚡ Ultra-Fast Super Wizard Neck

When the original RG550 was introduced in 1987, it featured a one-piece maple Wizard neck, which quickly became a defining feature of high-performance Ibanez guitars.

The Genesis Collection RG565 pushes that concept further with an upgraded 5-piece Maple/Walnut Super Wizard neck. This construction provides enhanced stability and improved resonance transfer.

The result is a neck that feels incredibly fast and precise, allowing players to perform lightning-fast runs, arpeggios, tapping phrases, hammer-ons, and complex lead techniques with ease.

The neck is topped with a Maple fretboard featuring 24 jumbo frets, providing a full two-octave range and making large bends and expressive vibrato effortless.

Another distinctive feature is the classic-style tilt neck joint with a stamped metal plate, rather than the sculpted All Access neck joint found on many modern RG models. This construction recreates the authentic feel of classic RG guitars from the late 1980s.
