The legendary Ibanez Genesis Collection RG565R in Desert Sun Yellow has arrived in our store, bringing back one of the most distinctive guitars from the golden era of shred.

This model is part of the Ibanez Genesis Collection, a premium Japanese-built series that revives classic Ibanez instruments from the late 1980s and early 1990s. These guitars preserve the original design and spirit while incorporating modern improvements in playability, construction, and electronics.

Classic RG Body Design

The guitar features a Basswood body, one of the most widely used tonewoods in performance electric guitars.

Basswood delivers a balanced tonal response with smooth lows, rich midrange, and excellent dynamics. This tonal character makes the guitar highly versatile for both high-gain distortion and clean tones.

The body features the iconic Ibanez RG shape, known for its ergonomic contours and shred-friendly design that allows effortless access to higher frets.

Fast Super Wizard Neck

The neck is constructed from five pieces of Maple and Walnut and features the famous Super Wizard neck profile.

This design provides exceptional stability while maintaining the ultra-thin, fast feel that Ibanez shred guitars are known for.

The Super Wizard neck encourages lightning-fast runs, arpeggios, hammer-ons, and advanced lead techniques.

The neck is topped with a bound Rosewood fingerboard, which adds both visual elegance and tonal warmth. Rosewood produces rich, warm tones with excellent sustain and balanced response.

The fretboard includes 24 jumbo frets, allowing expressive bends and providing a full two-octave playing range.
