This extremely touch responsive Stratocaster is one of the gems we brought back from Corona, CA shortly after the 2017 NAMM Show. If you are a songwriter, a studio musician, or a performer looking to dazzle a crowd with your expressive tone, this is a Stratocaster for you. This instrument exhibits a wide tonal palette based on how hard you play the strings, with a light touch yielding soulful round tones, and harder playing yielding a quacky “splat”. This diversity really lets the listener hear your expression and intent through the tone of your notes, it’s an inspiring experience. The neck is very comfortable to play, in fact, you immediately forget about the neck and just start writing music, and the tall skinny frets allow for easy bending. Another unique feature is the Tone Blender circuit on the bottom tone knob, this control allows you to variably blend the neck and bridge picks together for a rich new tone that is uncommon to most Strats. There’s a whole lot of goodness rolled up into this 1964 Stratocaster Relic including its stunning finish.
