The Fender 2017 Limited Edition American Professional Pine Telecaster — one of only 300 in the world — honors Leo Fender's earliest Telecaster prototype, the Esquire, with a body that's made from stable, soulful, hundred-year-old reclaimed pine. The velvety-smooth Lollar Charlie Christian blade neck pickup, a jazz favorite, pairs perfectly with the soft body's mature tonal response. Meanwhile, a period-correct Fender Pure Vintage '64 bridge pickup on brass saddles delivers the Tele spank we know and love. Other standout features include a stunningly figured Modern Deep "C" maple neck/fingerboard and "Blackguard"-inspired one-piece black anodized aluminum pickguard. A laser engraved headstock logo ties it all together.
Lollar Charlie Christian neck pickup
