The Head: A highly collectible 1994 Peavey 5150 Signature (the legendary first block-letter era / script logo with Edward Van Halen’s signature on the front pane). FIRST REVISION! andcrafted in the USA during Peavey’s golden age, this head delivers that raw, aggressive, and unforgiving high-gain roar that modern reissues simply cannot replicate.
The Cabinet: A 2002 Peavey 5150 Straight 4x12. Built like a tank from premium birch plywood, it is loaded with its original Sheffield 1200 speakers. These speakers were custom-voiced specifically for the 5150 head, providing a massive low-end thump, tight mid-range response, and zero flub.
Condition: Excellent fully functional condition. It shows some minor cosmetic wear on the tolex (scuffs and small scrapes consistent with its age), which only adds to its killer vintage rock vibe. Potentiometers run smoothly without any scratchiness, the tubes have plenty of life left, and the transformers are 100% original. Ready to track in the studio or hit the stage tonight.
