Legendary bassist Rex Brown, best known for his groundbreaking work with Pantera, has teamed up once again with Spector to introduce the new Euro 4 Rex Brown Signature Model. The bass represents a modern evolution of Rex’s trusted formula, blending carefully selected tonewoods, powerful electronics, and a road-ready design built for professional performance.
Designed for players who demand clarity, punch, and commanding midrange presence, the new signature model captures the essence of the classic Spector basses that helped shape Rex Brown’s unmistakable sound over the years.
Classic Spector DNA with a Modern Performance Edge
The new Spector Euro signature bass features a flame maple top that delivers the rich tonal character the brand is famous for. Paired with lightweight empresswood body wings, the instrument offers improved comfort for long performances without sacrificing depth or authority in the low end.
Its 3-piece maple neck-through construction is matched with an Indian rosewood fingerboard, providing enhanced stability, warmth, and smooth playability. The neck profile itself is based on Rex Brown’s long-time personal specifications, giving players the same familiar feel he has relied on for years.
EMG PJ-X Pickups and TonePump Electronics Deliver Crushing Tone
At the heart of the instrument is a set of EMG PJ-X pickups paired with the renowned Spector TonePump active preamp. This setup delivers fast attack, articulate response, powerful lows, and the aggressive midrange character that made Rex’s original Spector basses legendary in heavy music.
An easily accessible rear-mounted trim pot allows players to fine-tune the output level depending on their rig or live setup.
