The Gibson Traditional Pro V has the same mahogany body and neck and curved maple top as the Les Paul DNA, but it's also a fully evolved instrument. The body is lightweight due to the weight relief, and the neck has an asymmetrical shape that fits like a glove. Also, thanks to the compound radius rosewood fingerboard, you can easily play solos in high positions.
Gibson equips the Pro V with Dual Tradbucker pickups. The front humbucker is underwound with fewer turns for a warmer sound. The rear end is overwound for increased power output. Both use Alnico V magnets and sophisticated electronics to fine-tune your tone. Push/pull can be coil split or coil tap. This can be selected with a DIP switch in the control cavity. In coil split mode, a push/pull on the rear tone switches between the inner and outer coils. A push/pull on the front tone activates the phase switch.
The Trad Pro V is an almighty one that can be used by all types of players regardless of genre.
