Uncompromising Sound and Craftsmanship: Furch Violet D-EM CNR Active 2026 Acoustic Guitar
A Guitar with a World-Renowned Legacy
Few Czech products enjoy such global renown as Furch guitars. The company started back in 1981 in one of the many garages of socialist Czechoslovakia, operating illegally at the time. Today, artists such as Suzanne Vega, Glen Hansard, David Knopfler, Aneta Langerová, David Koller, Xavier Baumaxa, and many others play acoustic guitars made by this company. The best advertising for Furch guitars is their stellar reputation.
Style, Affordability, and Exceptional Tone
The Furch Violet series represents affordable, all-solid-wood acoustic guitars that captivate you with their stylish natural appearance, quality craftsmanship, and wonderfully balanced sound. The Furch Violet D-EM CNR Active 2026 is a popular Dreadnought model featuring a voluminous body construction and a big, dynamic sound. The guitar's soundboard is crafted from solid Grade-A North American Engelmann spruce, while the back and sides are made of solid African mahogany. The top, back, and sides feature an Open Pore finish, which protects the instruments and supports the wood's natural acoustic characteristics. The superb acoustic properties are further enhanced by special soundboard bracing.
Innovative Technology for Ultimate Playability
The CNR System Active neck reinforcement guarantees instrument durability and excellent playability (action) even in the most demanding climatic conditions, as the system adapts the guitar neck's adjustment to humidity fluctuations. This system also allows for quick and easy neck adjustments (raising or lowering the string action).
Orientation along the eco-friendly Brankowood fingerboard is made easy with side dot markers. Frets with shortened feet intentionally do not reach the edges of the fingerboard, preventing fret sprout caused by fingerboard shrinkage during lower air humidity. Precise and stable tuning is guaranteed by proprietary chrome machine heads with an 18:1 gear ratio. The neat design is underscored by body binding, a pickguard, and a rosette in a contrasting black finish.

At the customer's request, the guitar can be fitted with electronics from L.R. Baggs. For more information regarding pricing and electronics models, please contact our customer service line or store specialists. The instrument comes in a high-quality Furch padded soft case/gig bag.
