LTD EC-257 — Extended Range Power Made Accessible

The LTD EC-257 proves that extended-range guitars can be affordable without sacrificing tone, comfort, or style. This seven-string EC model delivers the depth and clarity required for modern metal, progressive rock, and heavy low-tuned music.

Built with a reliable set-neck construction, the EC-257 offers excellent sustain and smooth access to the upper frets. Its mahogany body provides a warm, full tonal foundation that handles extended low frequencies with ease.

The three-piece mahogany neck with a fast Thin U profile feels comfortable and responsive, even when navigating the added seventh string. A roasted jatoba fingerboard with a 400 mm radius and 22 extra-jumbo frets supports modern techniques, wide chords, and expressive lead playing.

Tone comes from a pair of ESP Designed LH-150 humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions. These pickups deliver a powerful, balanced sound, while the push/pull tone control allows coil-splitting for brighter single-coil textures.

A TOM bridge and tailpiece ensure tuning stability and solid resonance. Finished in Black Satin with black hardware, the EC-257 looks as serious as it sounds.
