LTD EC-201FT Black — Raw Power, Flat-Top Simplicity, Built to Rock
The LTD EC-201FT Black is now available and delivers a stripped-down, aggressive take on the classic EC design. The FT designation stands for Flat Top, and this guitar fully embraces that concept with a clean, streamlined look focused entirely on tone, playability, and impact.
Its mahogany body provides a thick, resonant sound with excellent sustain, while the traditional set-neck construction enhances resonance and feel. With a 24.75" scale length, the EC-201FT offers a familiar and comfortable playing experience that suits heavy riffing and expressive lead work alike.
The three-piece Thin U-shaped mahogany neck feels fast and solid in the hand, making it ideal for modern rock and metal styles. A rosewood fingerboard with black binding, pearloid block inlays, and 22 extra-jumbo frets ensures smooth playability and confident note control across the entire neck.
At the heart of the guitar is a single ESP Designed LH-150B humbucker — hot, punchy, and perfectly voiced for aggressive tones. The push-pull coil split on the master volume control adds tonal flexibility, allowing access to cleaner, more articulate single-coil-style sounds when needed.
Finished in classic black with matching hardware and a multi-ply black pickguard, the LTD EC-201FT Black is a no-nonsense rock machine that delivers power, clarity, and exceptional value.
