Redesigned Clean Channel — Maximum Flexibility
The fully updated Clean channel includes two distinct Voice modes.
One is based on classic American amplifier design, delivering bright, clean tones with a slightly compressed response and strong low-end presence.
The second Voice offers a traditional British character — brighter and tighter, with less low-end, easily pushed into a smooth breakup for blues-style overdrive.
Switching between these modes affects not only the preamp but also EQ settings, input sensitivity, and power amp damping, allowing precise tonal shaping.
All Clean modes include bass and treble controls for additional flexibility.
Tighter and More Dynamic Overdrive
The Blackstar HT-Venue MkII series introduces significant improvements to the overdrive channel. Two Voice modes deliver focused, powerful high-gain tones based on the award-winning previous generation.

Improved navigation makes switching between channels and modes seamless, and the amplifier remembers your last selected Voice setting.

Another advantage is the ability to clean up the tone on the overdrive channel simply by lowering your guitar’s output signal.

The included two-button footswitch allows switching between Clean and Overdrive channels, as well as Voice modes.
An optional five-button footswitch provides full access to all channels and modes, plus a global boost function for increasing output level when needed.
A dedicated control for reverb activation is also included.
Greater Control with Power Reduction
The HT Venue MkII series features a power reduction function, allowing output to be lowered to 10% of its rated power.
This means you can enjoy the full tonal character of EL34 tubes without needing high volume levels, making the amp equally suitable for stage and studio use.
