8-String Headless Precision: Discover the Legator Revenant R8F Black Ice MultiScale Guitar!
Guitar manufacturer Legator officially introduces its modern 8-string headless instrument, the Legator Revenant R8F Black Ice Headless Fanned Fret MultiScale 8 String. Engineered specifically for low-tuned progressive metal players who demand ultimate tuning stability, superior ergonomics, and punishing sonic clarity.
Neck, Fretboard & Profile The structural foundation of this 8-string design is a rigid 3-piece Canadian hard maple bolt-on neck (Bolt-on 3 Piece Canadian Hard Maple Neck), reinforced with a carbon fiber composite truss rod (Carbon fiber composite truss rod). The neck features an ultra-fast thin profile: measuring 17.5mm at the 1st fret and 18.5mm at the 14th fret.
The fingerboard is built from a stable "RICHLITE" Composite Fingerboard with a 12"-16" compound radius. It houses 24 3mm JUMBO Stainless Steel Frets paired with Aluminum Offset Circle Dot Inlays.
Multi-Scale Design, Body & Custom Finishes The extended 26.5-27.5" Multi-Scale fanned-fret design guarantees optimal string tension across all eight strings: maintaining tight low-end tension on the 8th string while preserving slinky action for soloing on higher strings.
The body is crafted from a lightweight mahogany core (Lightweight Mahogany Body) coated in a striking Custom Crystal paint gloss finish. Color options include Black Ice, Purple Rain, and Bloody Mary (available via pre-order with shipping in 1-2 months).
Electronics & Proprietary Hardware Sonic horsepower is provided by heavy-duty Legator Rail "Aftershock" Humbuckers, voiced specifically for aggressive high-gain definition in extreme lower registers. Electronics feature a Push-Pull Volume, a 3-way blade switch, and an interactive LED killswitch.
Hardware includes the dedicated Legator Revenant Exclusive Locking headpiece & Bridge system, engineered for maximum resonance and rock-solid tuning.
