At the core of the MK 2 Series lies a significantly upgraded processing engine. Boot time is now approximately 20 seconds, and the expanded feature set pushes the boundaries of what a modern guitar or bass rig can achieve.

The MK 2 Series introduces seven additional effect blocks, bringing the total number of simultaneous audio effects to 20 — all operating with zero added latency. It is equivalent to having a fully integrated professional pedalboard at your feet: instant startup, no cable reconfiguration, and complete preset recall every time.

A New Era of Profiling

KEMPER unveils a new PROFILING technology for the MK 2 platform. Availability is expected soon, with extended testing currently underway alongside selected third-party profile developers.

What’s New in the KEMPER PROFILER MK 2

Expanded FX Section – Seven Additional Dedicated Slots

The MK 2 Series adds seven dedicated “pedalboard essential” FX slots, including:

• A second Noise Gate (Palm Ninja)

• Compressor

• Pure Booster

• WahWah

• Vintage Chorus

• Air Chorus

• Double Tracker

   

Combined with the existing 10 audio blocks, Spectral Noise Gate, Transpose effect, and Volume Pedal, the system now supports 20 simultaneous effects. The unit is performance-ready straight out of the box while maintaining complete customization flexibility.

The redesigned layout ensures essential tones are instantly accessible, while leaving eight flexible FX blocks available for the premium tone-shaping and studio-grade effects that define the KEMPER PROFILER reputation.

Performance Meets Portability

With a redesigned internal structure and lightweight aluminum components, the Stage MK 2 model reduces overall weight without compromising durability. It is built for touring professionals and studio musicians alike.

Player Is MK 2-Ready

Owners of the compact PROFILER Player benefit immediately. The device was designed to align with MK 2 architecture from the beginning. It now offers 16 simultaneous effects at Level 1 via free update. The Player will also receive the advanced PROFILING upgrade.

This positions the KEMPER PROFILER Player as one of the most feature-rich and professional performance and recording solutions available in its class.

Native 8-Channel USB Audio

All MK 2 Series units include built-in 8-channel USB audio functionality, enabling seamless multitrack recording and reamping directly into any DAW without requiring an external audio interface.

Enhanced Looper

The integrated looper now supports up to two minutes of recording time, allowing extended phrases, layered compositions, and live performance creativity. (Available from Level 3 for Player.)

Speed and Responsiveness Improvements

Boot times, preset switching, and user interface responsiveness have been significantly enhanced, especially in Performance Mode.
