PRS has released the 40th Anniversary McCarty SC56, a limited-edition guitar that blends the character of classic electric instruments with modern precision and performance. And the most exciting part — this guitar is already available in our store.

The McCarty SC56 features a maple top and mahogany back for a warm, resonant tone, paired with a one-piece mahogany Pattern Vintage neck. The 24.594” scale length and slightly thicker back give the instrument remarkable sustain and a rich, woody voice.

At the core of its sound are the new PRS McCarty III pickups, designed for clarity, warmth, and outstanding note definition. The classic control layout (two volume controls, two tone controls, and a three-way toggle) keeps the focus on feel and sound.

High-gloss nitrocellulose finish, Old School bird inlays, and a commemorative truss rod cover make this instrument both visually stunning and historically meaningful.
The production run is limited to 400 pieces worldwide, and we are proud to have secured one.
