Includes plug adapters for EU, UK, Australia/New Zealand for use anywhere in the world. dUg Sound An ultra-compact adaptation of his Tech 21 Ultra Bass 1000 Signature head, the DP-3X also recreates the sound originally developed in the 80s, combining high-end distortion with low-end bass. Prior to his signature head, his rig involved running a guitar amp and a bass amp together with a rack full of effects. Wanting to further streamline his rig for times when using his full Tech 21 rig just isn't practical, dUg collaborated with us to develop the fully analog DP-3X pedal. While personally beta-testing the DP-3X on a European tour, dUg worked with different backline at every venue. But no matter what amplifier was on stage, dUg was able to get his powerful sound every single night. In addition to achieving dUg’s unique sound, the DP-3X is flexible enough to produce traditional bass amp sounds. Mix mode engages Drive for distortion and Chunk for high-end harmonics. The Gain button provides additional distortion and compression. In Clean/Full Range mode, Drive and Chunk are bypassed, while Comp and Gain remain active. Other controls include a 3-band active EQ with switchable mid frequencies and Master Volume. There is also a chromatic tuner, headphone connectivity, and an XLR output for direct connection to a computer or mixing console without losing detail, warmth, and responsiveness.
